Growth without limit is unsustainable
Ealing’s population rose by 29 thousand in the decade up to 2021. Yet Ealing Council is encouraging population growth of up to 40 thousand between 2020 and 2029 .
This has huge implications for the people who already live here – such as food supply, more pressure on nature, open spaces, energy security, water, sewage, hospital waiting lists and school places.
See an analysis of the numbers by Ealing Friends of the Earth member Rosamund.
