We said that using public transport was preferable to driving.<\/p><p>Governments did eventually listen and reduced their road building. However they&#8217;ve now managed to design a public transport system (HS2) that promises to be as destructive as any motorway. This was not what we meant by public transport.<\/p><p>The country does not need more connections to and from London.
